Gerry has more than twenty years of experience as a project consultant to both the private and public sectors.

In addition to undergraduate degrees in business and economics, Gerry received his:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1999;
• Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation in 2006; 
• Certified General Accounting (CGA) designation in 2011; and his
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2014.

Gerry has significant experience in working with small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in most sectors of the economy; he has particular strengths in agriculture and manufacturing. A recent assignment was the development of a business plan for a province-wide agricultural association as part of their proposal to purchase a business entity that was being privatized by the provincial government. Another recent assignment was the development of a financial plan for a business start-up in the biotechnology sector.

Gerry has recently been awarded one of two contracts (in New Brunswick) to provide expert financial services to farmers who have been accepted under the Farm Debt Mediation Service (FDMS) program of Agriculture and Agri-food Canada. Gerry has also been qualified through CMC Canada to provide Management Advisory Services (MAS) to IRAP clients. (Industry Research Assistance Program - Research and Productivity Council)

MEET DEBBIE PETERS

Debbie has more than twenty years of senior-level experience as a manager and consultant in the not-for-profit and public sectors. This has included working in a variety of settings, including health care and the provincial government.

She has been responsible for providing leadership and management support to diverse teams of various professionals. Her consulting experience has included:

• Strategic planning;
• Program reviews and evaluations;
• Development of logic models;
• Assessing funding proposals;
• Developing organizational performance measurement frameworks.

She has strong project management and analytical skills as well as excellent communication abilities. A key focus of her approach to any work assignment is to engage and work closely with critical stakeholders. In addition to undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Business Administration, Debbie has a Master of Business Administration.

Our Associates

Peters & Associates Ltd. has partnered with other consultants (local, national and international) on particularly large projects where there was a requirement for significantly more resources. However, most of our work is with SMEs where Gerry is the lead consultant and works closely with all clients.
